Pictures of your Wind
Here's a picture of the Ruby Red Wind that I've ordered.
I've struggled to find pictures of it in the red, most seem to be the Azzurro (light blue), Black or White.

I have not yet figured out how to get the images appear in posts. I'm looking into it!

Nice Wind Admin
.
I think that Ruby red is going to be rare, just a shame they didn't make a collection edition in that colour.

If they had, I'd have ordered it! We were going to have a 'Collection' until we found out there wasn't an option of ordering them in red. Nothing against the black, but the Toyota Yaris we're trading in is black, and we wanted a change...

Yep Sgtard your the only one who is lucky enough to have their car already. The rest of us are still on the waiting list - been waiting since July 8(.
But I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Looks a little low to the ground to me. Beware the speed humps, could be expensive!
Is this company {HKS} selling these body kits?

This is the only time I have been alowed to take the drivers seat - me poor old mum loved it!

Well, the day has arrived. I've been and collected my Ruby Red Wind. One week earlier than the dealer predicted, and two weeks earlier than Renault predicted.
It has been an agonising wait, I'm very impatient! But here it is in all it's glory.

We've been out for a drive to Lincoln and back, and both Mrs Admin and I are loving it.
Here's hoping for some happy motoring.

Once the rain stops, and the sun comes out again, I'll take some more pictures!
The colour seems slightly 'chameleon' in appearance. I took a picture from another angle, and it looked like a totally different car. I thought it might be under or over exposed for a start, but the background seems spot on. Hey-ho.

Makes a change from all the black ones! Good for you, enjoy it.

Second thoughts I just want one - why is mine taking so long 8(. I only live 14 miles away from France for crying out loud.

I rather like that...
Not red, granted, but it looks good.
Re: Pictures of your Wind
We contacted the garage yesterday for an update on our Wind Collection - it is currently in the UK having the extras added to it.
But we still won't get it for another two weeks so they say - I guess I should be happier now its that little bit closer.
I'll post some pictures of my "vintage" Wind Collection once it arrives.

Well they told me the extras are added once the car has left the factory - I must admit it does sound a little strange why they would want to do that, as I would have thought the factory was the best place to make any modifications.
Just better not be anymore delays, I was originally meant to pick it up this coming Monday.

Re: Pictures of your Wind
We've finally had some sunshine! I've been polishing the car after a week of driving to work in the rain got it filthy. Found two stone chips so having to go to Halfords for some touch-up paint. Annoying or what!
Been out for a drive to Alford Windmill and taken some pictures.

The Ruby Red paint does certainly change colour depending on the angle of the light and the direction you look at it. First car I've had that does this, it's a neat trick. Rather like the roof. After the roof has gone up and down I feel like giving a round of applause!
I also took some (poor quality) video of the roof going up and down which is in the video section.

It looks like you are really enjoying your Wind, sorry to hear about the chips you have picked up over the last week. I hope the damage isn't too bad.

Driving the miles I do over Lincolnshire's notoriously bad roads, you are bound to pick up some stone chips. If not sooner, then later.
I have one small one just behind the drivers door, and one on the front edge of the drivers door. {That I've seen so far...} Nothing terrible, and certainly nothing that a drop or two of touch up paint won't cover up.
Re: Pictures of your Wind

So, here is Ruby Red, at the Burgoyne Hotel in Reeth, Nth Yorkshire. Minutes later we (well I...) caught the passenger side wheel on a kerb and now have a scrape on the wheel to go with the stone chips...
Going well, isn't it?

Neat. Though I rather like the shiny 'chrome' badge.
Where did the Carbon stuff come from? Is it easy to apply?

Re: Pictures of your Wind
That Carbon Fibre remote doesn't look bad for your first go. How did you find using the vinyl wrap after that, from your other screen shots it looks like a really good job.
I was thinking of using that on the interior, way too much plastic for my liking, I think it would look sweet on the inside of the doors.

I'd thought of something similar for the door lining. I wasn't sure if it would stick though.

Another picture of what a body kit modification might look like on the Wind.

lol I wish - I struggle just taking pictures let alone using photoshop.
So that carbon fibre vinyl should in theory stick to the plactic doors? If it does thats something I might try if Tania lets me lol.

I thought a red car would be easier to keep clean. It isn't!
