Wind is a real blast
Ok, we have had plenty jokes about the name, but up here in Scotland they are really pushing the sale of the Wind in the car section of the National newspapers, with the above headline.
They seem to be highlighting the 1.6 model a lot now. Maybe all the more fuel effecient 1.2s are gone up here in Scotland, being that the money orientated mind of the Scot is always looking for a good fuel efficient bargain.
I can get away with saying that sterotype, as I am Scottish and always looking for a bargain
Anyway the writeup talks about a test drive of the 1.6 and mentions the real throaty exhaust note which puts a smile on your face. I like to keep the revs down most of the time, or I get a real noise in my ears
The interior has a real cockpit feel and the Wind is a very willing little sports car.
The price metioned was definately still high at £13,895, as most of us can now get a better figure with negociation or discounts, as they are so desperate to get the final cars off the dealer forecourts by the end of Febuary, when the car has finished production for the UK.

Yeh, thats a good deal on pre-registered.
The ones they are trying to get off the forecourt up here are pre-reg 11 and 61 plates at Delivery mileage. Prices from £9000 depending on model and age.
There still seems to be a lot of them lying around almost new and unused. Just a sign of the times we are in at the moment.

Just paid that for a pre-reg 133 GT Line. It did have 40 miles on the clock though.
