I said I would never have another black car as a previous one was so difficult to keep looking clean.

However, when I was buying the Wind from local dealer it seemed to be the choice of black or black!

I do think the Wind looks best - very smart and sleek in black with a black roof. Obviously with other coloured bodies you've got the contrasting element of the roof. That's obviously a personal choice.

I went out with the intention of getting a white with caramel interior but that just wasn't happening. I could have ordered new and paid nearly £1000 for leather seat, that was just bananas with the pre-reg deals on offer. and that's how I ended up with a black Gordini no.20 (Gordini in Malta blue wasn't available - don't thinkI would have taken it)

Same went to get white or Black new GT ended up with malta blue Gordini. We saw a white with the caramel (demo on 10 plate) looked much better with the black paint.
I think the black gordini looks so sexy (my choice) I think we have a 2--4--24 or 42 now a 20 gordini`s, patten?

The colour numbers of members on this website are definitely reflecting what's on the road up here in Central Scotland, as all I ever see is Black and Blue Winds, as they are the most popular and numerous.

Exception being, saw two whites, no other reds and no greys.

Hmm... You are right I suppose.

The problems here are:
Not every member has expressed a vehicle colour.
Members who have sold their cars have not (always) explicitly said so. I can see I took one member off the list, I seem to recall taking another one off, but can't see where.
Members who may have left the forum have not said goodbye.

I don't suppose there is an easy answer to these problems, unless I'm missing the obvious.
I personally feel it does represent the distribution of colours fairly accurately. Anecdotally, I see most of the Pearl Black and Azzurro Blue/Malta Blue. I've never seen a Mirage Grey or another Ruby Red.

If it is considered no longer relevant, I can close the thread and bring it to an end?
