Hello.

You should have seen the scrolling message at the top of the Forum, asking members to update their profile details with their choice of vehicle colour, if you have yet to do so, please update this part of your profile so we (I?) can see how popular each colour choice for the Wind is.

The results so far are:
Membership: 55
Members who have so far listed their vehicle colour: 15
Members not listing their vehicle colour: 40
(At least it adds up!)

In order of popularity, here are the results, in reverse order:
4=Azzurro Blue - 1
4=Mirage Grey - 1
3: Glacier White - 2
2: Ruby Red - 3
1: Pearl Black - 8

4 members have pictures for their avatars which show coloured cars, but have not set their vehicle colour, if counted this would add 2 votes each for Azzurro Blue and Pearl Black.

3 members have posted photographs in the 'Pictures of your Wind' topic that have not set their vehicle colour and don't have a vehicle as their avatar, this would add 3 further votes for Pearl Black.

If these 'votes' were added to the official voting, the results should look like this:

5: Mirage Grey - 1
4: Glacier White - 2
2=Azzurro Blue - 3
2=Ruby Red - 3
1: Pearl Black - 13

As suspected, Pearl Black seems to be the runaway leader.

Not been on for a while. Just updated the colour

Forgot to mention that Jossy and I are both on the forum, but share the same car

Having seen a blue one at the dealers (just delivered), I definately did not like it; but I have since seen a blue one in town & it looked really nice.

It was a sunny day & the car was very clean & shiny...

I guess the reason most people have gone for black is it's a safe colour choice...

Well you lot got the collection versions , thats not even available in my country , and the red one in my country is not ruby red its red like in admins avatar
my black one is also different then the collection black ones ...

Ruby red is not available its called bordeaux , the color is much darker then your car its more like your avatar ,

black color of mine is called noire , not pearl black and my garage owner said the colors are different for collections compared to normal wind's

apart from the blue and silver and white thats all the same but black and red are different , still happy whit my black one tho

Are you saying you would like your (Azzurro Blue) car adding to the list? I can gladly add it, but if you then update your profile you might get counted twice! I don't suppose it matters greatly, but it would make it easier for me to follow if you could please update your colour choice in your profile first, then everything will add up neatly.

i have never seen one yet, however I have only ever seen 4 other winds since getting my car in April - 3 blue and 1 white.
From that I'm starting to think I will never see a ruby red IRL so I'm not even counting my chickens over a gordini unless I go to a show room

Hmmm... Of course that isn't in my chart for the original choices of colour!

Guess it is a special Gordini Blue. If I add it to the selection you'll be able to select it.
I'll also move you to your own colour count.

I think all the Renault Gordini range for all models is the same blue as it relates to the racing driver Mr Gordini in the 1940`s.

I hope this didn't come across as criticism, I was not complaining about the picture on the site being an advert, more that driving a bright pink van around must catch peoples eyes causing them to be reminded where to get their Premiership Football from...

Or in your case where to get The Simpsons from.
Mind you, some of those paint jobs have had split personalities, with football on one side, and movies on the other.

I went out with the intention of getting a white with caramel interior but that just wasn't happening. I could have ordered new and paid nearly £1000 for leather seat, that was just bananas with the pre-reg deals on offer. and that's how I ended up with a black Gordini no.20 (Gordini in Malta blue wasn't available - don't thinkI would have taken it)

All cars have a 'signature' colour, and a great deal of effort goes into finding a colour that shows off the detail and the lines of the car best. Obviously this was Azzurro Blue for the Wind. With production though, black is still a big seller so that's why so many would have been made in that colour.
