Hi All, i'm having a problem with the phone connection in the car, its an iphone 4 it connects ok and if i ring my wife while she if driving she says she can hear me fine but i cannot hear her properly, it cuts out alot, i just wondered if it was a fault and should get it looked at or it was just a rubbish quality renault phone system. thanks windy.

I believe there was an issue specifically with the iPhone 4 but Renault released a software update to fix it.

Have you got the latest software installed on the stereo? It should be version s2.30m2.30
Read the following page on Renault's website which has all the information on it:

Tunepoint Stereo - software update

Hope this helps.

Blimey! All this fuss just to listen to music. I've got RCA connectors instead. Work a treat Smile

i'll be totally honest, I had the bluetooth kit in my fiesta with voice control and it doesn't compare.
I can hear people talking to me in the car but the person on the other end finds it really difficult to hear me speaking. It must be a microphone thing with Winds...

that unfortunately is the only thing I miss about my fiesta, might seem lazy but I loved 'telling' my car to do something and it just worked beautifully.
other than that I would not swap my Wind for anything I love you

Voice control in a Fiesta, whatever next!

Was it like talking to Kitt in Knight Rider!? (Don't know which is worse: showing my age by making that comment or admitting to the fact that I actually used to watch Knight Rider).

So what kind of things did you tell you car to do? I'm guessing Turbo Boost wasn't an option in your little Fiesta!

Hope Renault can sort your microphone problem windy.

I think knight rider was a tad before my time Razz Wink
The only 2 things I knew about it was that it had THE HOFF and also the theme tune, however You Tube has just filled me in Laughing

unfortunately my fiesta wasn't as 'intuitive' as Kitt...
you could however tell it to dial names, dial specific numbers, change radio/cd/aux including radio frequency and also control the climate in the car.
But I tell you what it couldn't do even though it had bluetooth, I couldnt play music wirelessly.
I could never go back to a car without bluetooth Shocked

Gone are the days I just want a car to look good and drive well, it now has to have a few good gadgets too!

Good ol' YouTube, where would we be without it!

Your Fiesta had climate control!! - I thought a radio was a luxury in such cars Razz

Yep, you can't beat good old gadgets. I keep adding to the list every time I change my car. Currently it has to have bluetooth, heated seats, air conditioning and a usb connector for the stereo, but I keep finding additional items with each new purchase.
